How does photography coverage work?
Photography coverage is registration-based. Only registered athletes are guaranteed to be photographed and receive images from an event.
At select events, additional athletes may be photographed for media or editorial use only. These images are not part of the athlete registration program and are not delivered to families.
Coverage for registered athletes is guaranteed. If coverage cannot be provided as scheduled, we will first attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, all registered athletes will receive a full refund.

How and when do I register an athlete?
Athletes must be registered before the event. Registration closes once capacity is reached or the deadline passes, and late registration is not available.
Available games and events appear on the registration page as they open. If an event is not listed, you may submit a request through the Request a Game form for consideration.
Spots are limited, and early registration is strongly encouraged.

What does the registration fee include?
The registration fee includes all digital images of the registered athlete from that specific event, delivered electronically through a private online gallery.
The fee does not include print products or ownership rights. There are no required add-on purchases after registration.

How and when are photos delivered?
Images are typically delivered within one week of the event.
Each athlete receives a private, athlete-specific gallery organized by event. Customers receive a link that provides access to all of their galleries in one place. Images may be downloaded multiple times while the gallery is available.

How can I use the photos?
Images are provided for personal use, including sharing with friends and family or posting on social media. Credit is always appreciated but not required.
All images remain the copyright of the photographer. Commercial use, resale, advertising, or fundraising use is not permitted without written permission.
Schools or programs may request usage, which may be granted upon request, depending on the intended use.

What is the cancellation or refund policy?
Registrations may be canceled for a full refund if requested at least 48 hours before the event.
In the case of unavoidable circumstances, such as injury or emergency, refunds may be granted at the sole discretion of Scott Sansom Photography.
